This is a superb autobiography by a man I admire and respect and who taught me so much when I was fortunate enough to serve under him as a company commander in the 1st Battalion The Green Howards Regiment when he was my CO – Commanding Officer. I also served with him again when he was our Brigade Commander in Germany. He is a fine role model leader and while human like us all, he lives by his strong Christian faith and has humility humility and a nice bit of gentle humour. I will write a full review later but wanted you to read this autobiography as soon as you can.
