Simon Brewer – Financial Wisdom & Advice – CEO of Vantage Investment Advisory Ltd Simon was CIO at Morgan Stanley. Now as CEO of Vantage Investment Advisory Ltd he is also Chairman of Clifton College Development Trust, an also a Senior advisor Rothschild and Co.

He is Co-Founded the MoneyMaze Podcast. His site says: “Navigating the Investment Maze – The world of finance has a huge impact on all of us. In July 2019, Simon’s friend and co-founder of his adventure, Will Campion, asked him if he was a regular podcast listener. The answer was essentially no; and when he had, it was both occasional and mostly, inadvertently. After a few more exchanges he pressed Simon to listen to Capital Allocators, a US podcasting series founded by Ted Seides. Ted had worked with Dave Swensen at Yale and then Protégé Partners and had created a really impressive and increasingly popular programme. Simon bought the podcasting kit, registered the domains and then a colleague of Will, Nick Rawdon-Jones, kindly offered to build the site.”

Simon also has a degree from LSE and learning from the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme.

After graduating in 1985, Simon joined Citibank Private Bank where he became a portfolio manager running multi asset class portfolios. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1989 and remained there until May 2006. During his tenure he managed assets on behalf of families and charities and created and ran the award-winning Global Balanced Portfolio. He was a Managing Director, the Chief Investment Officer of the European private wealth management business and Chairman of their European Asset Allocation committee. Simon joined Vantage Investment Advisory Limited in 2006, as their C.E.O. He is also a Governor of Clifton College and Chairman of the Clifton College Development Trust. He was also an associate trustee of the Great Ormond Street Hospital and sat on their investment committee.
