Philippa Snare – SVP EMEA at The Trade Desk

Theme – I love business and people – and I believe you can create an environment and practises that means everyone can learn, grow and be successful for them personally as well as for the business. You don’t have to be an arsehole to be successful! Philippa has worked in tech all her career, and has been lucky to be able to follow her purpose by realising the benefits that tech brings to enhance society and build successful economies. Philippa was part of a small team that built one of the first successful Dotcom internet brands called Scoot – making print directories a thing of the past. She then moved to Microsoft and launched internet services like Hotmail, messenger and Office365, She finished her time at Microsoft as the CMO for UK and Ireland. He next project took her to Facebook to build their EMEA and latterly their global business marketing function, where she grew the team from 20 to over 600 and helped businesses realise the benefit of Facebook, Instagram, Whats App and Oculus. At heart Philippa is a disrupter, she loves helping others and believes that good people work hard for their luck. She loves leading and helping people around her become successful – and horses! #bethechange #onwards!

Because I have a positive and balanced outlook people achieve great things, and in the process I get to work with happy motivated and highly engaged people.
