“Attitude aces ability” says Jordan Berman, CEO of ofc.tv

Jordan’s journey of self-discovery inspired him in 2010 to launch OFC (ofc.tv), a creative agency and video production studio founded on one principle: Typical is Invisible®. As CEO, Jordan leads a team of multi-media storytellers in elevating entertainment value and client service to build buzz for brands and business initiatives. OFC earns attention and inspires action among consumers, customers, colleagues, and candidates at a time when TikTok is conquering the coffee break. OFC, based in Princeton, NJ, enables clients like AT&T, PepsiCo, Bristol Myers Squibb, Medtronic, and Remitly to win in the workplace and marketplace with campaigns that captivate and motivate.

Prior to OFC, Jordan propelled the marketing efforts of several iconic companies during a span of 17 years. As Senior Vice President of Integrated Marketing at MTV, Jordan led the strategic development and execution of advertiser integrations for the storied channel. He pioneered the development and marketing of new mobile entertainment and advertising offerings reaching 150 million customers as Vice President of Media Innovation at AT&T. While Director of Online Marketing & Promotions at Showtime, Jordan drove viewer engagement and subscriptions at the premium cable network. Jordan began his professional career on the DeWalt power tool sales and marketing team at Black & Decker, before entering the advertising agency world at DDB as Account Executive on Hasbro toys.

Jordan’s superpower of enthusiasm echoes across his career! His unflinching optimism and energy have propelled countless initiatives from idea to execution. Jordan has found that few organizations spontaneously combust into creativity. Rather, leaders must set imaginations on fire by cultivating the SPARC of culture: Service, Passion, Accountability, Respect, Curiosity.

Jordan earned a BS in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. He is a lecturer at Cornell, Rutgers University, and Fordham University. His wife, Elizabeth, is Chief People Officer of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, parent company of the NBA 76ers and NHL Devils. The couple have two teenage sons, Dean and Nate, and a rescue dog, Kayla. Jordan is an avid mountain biker, practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and drummer in an 80’s cover band, Flux Capacitor. Jordan serves as President of the Cornell ILR School Alumni Association and Board Member of JFCS: Jewish Family & Children’s Service.

Jordan Berman’s top leadership tip is to recognize “attitude aces ability.” The greatest predictor of success is a mindset that embraces challenge and proactively evolves every day. Enthusiasm eats expertise for lunch in the long run!
