What I did to pick myself up and being resilient against adversity

Getting fired from my dream job of 20 years and worrying that my life was over and people would think I wasn’t cool and I was a looser.

Fast forward to now – people aren’t thinking about you they don’t care. Just do it!

Pick yourself up and go.

It’s not failure if you learn a lesson from it.

I had quit my job

I was going to LA to become an actress-It was what I had always wanted to do to go to LA and become an actress for a living.

I moved to LA and discovered I hated it and I hated the lifestyle and I wasn’t good at acting. I couldn’t act my way out of the box. My heart just wasn’t in it.

Even 30 years later people said ….that time you failed in LA.

I didn’t fail I found out I couldn’t act. More importantly I didn’t want to act.
