Are you “Leading on Purpose?” Why should anybody follow you? Do you create meaning for the work they do?

Feb 2010

The finest leaders have a very clear set of values and beliefs and principles by which they lived their lives and lead others. Such clarity is very attractive to follows and creates a powerful sense of personal energy, calm and wisdom.
The absence of meaning and purpose for a leader is a deadly virus which infects a team and potentially the whole organisation.

So what do your followers say about you as a leader-do they believe that you are leading on purpose?
Are you sufficiently inspiring for them to willingly give discretionary life energy to you and everything you stand for?
Good luck
warm regards
Jonathan
